Product Description

 Royal Pack flow wrapping machine, or horizontal form-fill-seal (HFFS) machine, is a high-speed automated packaging system that wraps individual products in a continuous, horizontal, pillow-style pouch. It feeds products on a conveyor, forms a film tube around them, seals the longitudinal fin/lap, and seals/cuts both ends to create finished packs, often used for food (bars, baked goods) and consumer goods. 

Key Features and Components

         Horizontal Operation: Items move along a conveyor through a forming box, making it ideal for solid, consistent items.

         Film Feeding System: Uses a continuous roll of film (top or bottom reel).

         Sealing Mechanisms: Features a central sealing fin and rotary end-sealing jaws to create a "pillow" shape.

         High-Speed Production: Capable of high-speed packaging, often featuring servomotor control for precision.

         Optional Features: Integration with coders (date/batch), automatic feeders, and gas flushing for extended shelf life. 

How It Works

1.    Feeding: Products are placed on an infeed conveyor.

2.    Wrapping: The product is wrapped in film, which is then formed into a tube.

3.    Sealing & Cutting: The film is sealed and cut into individual packages. 

Common Applications

         Food: Candies, chocolate bars, baked goods (muffins, cookies), crackers, granola bars, and fresh produce.

         Non-Food: Medical devices (syringes), pharmaceuticals (tablets), cosmetics (soap), stationery, and small hardware.
